Unlike artwork of other kinds, a logo has a very demanding job to do: Ôøº Identify the business it represents. Convey the character¬Ýof the business. Be instantly understandable, when reproduced at any size.¬Ý¬Ý Big advertising companies charge giant corporate clients monstrous amounts of money to spend months testing abstract designs on focus groups. The results are often abstract and impersonal, and frequently nothing like what the client had in mind. But that’Äôs no fun! Ôøº I believe in using recognizable, friendly, memorable imagery (even cute if that's what you want!) It makes a lot more sense to me, especially for a small business, to have a logo that conveys accessibility.¬Ý Ôøº To work well and look professional it just needs to have balance, harmony, and graphic clarity.¬Ý I really enjoy the challenge of creating logos that increase business AND make people smile, like the three you see here.
